1. Expect rejection. The reality is, in this imperfect world there are going to be people who like you ... and people who do not. There are going to be people who adore your beauty ... and people who reject and label it as 'ugly'. What you see in the mirror is what you choose to see ... not what others paint you to be.
2. Filter what you feed your mind, spirit, and soul. Monitor the air waves: what you listen to, what you watch, what you read, and even what you eat. What you allow to penetrate your internal will transform your thoughts, beliefs, values, etc.

3. Forgive those who have rejected you in the past. Unforgiveness hurts you more than it hurts the object of your unforgiveness (i.e., your ex, your friend, your sibling). Unforgiveness begets dwelling, stirs up resentment, allows anger to linger. Let go. Forgive. Move forward. It is also important to forgive yourself, if applicable.
